Counselor Visit Day will be an annual event held at William & Mary campus, inviting regional high school counselors to W&M to experience what the University has to offer.
I worked with the Admission's department to create a brand for this event that included a logo, event program and a digital email banner.
The concept for the logo is about the exchange that goes on during the day. Counselor's move around the campus attending different seminars and there's a back and forth dialogue between them, W&M students and faculty members. I used arrows to symbolize this movement and icons of a man and woman inside the "O" of the name meant to symbolize the attendees. The colors are the school's official colors, with the addition of a gradient meant to reinforce the "day" aspect of the event. The arrows become active on brand material, extending from the wordmark and weaving around the piece highlighting and referencing bits of information.
